Forklift truck tyres repair includes the rubber strip repair method, patch internal repair method and mushroom nail repair method.

1. Rubber strip repair method

The adhesive tape is directly filled into the damaged hole on the forklift truck tyres, and then cured by heating to make up for the leakage. Because of its simple operation and extremely low cost, the most expensive repair price just cost dozens of dollars. However, this method is likely to heat the rubber strip due to melting and separation at high temperatures in summer. In addition to being affected by vibration, it will also have the problem of air leakage. This method is used for earlier tire repair, which is no longer recommended now.

2. Internal patch method

At present, the commonly used method is the internal patch method. At first, you should check the damaged location of the forklift truck tyres, then planish the damaged area, apply glue around the hole, and attach the special rubber patch to the damaged area and press it firmly. After that, smear a layer protective glue, then the tyres repair work has been completed. This method is basically the same as the tire repair method which is commonly used on bicycles. The disadvantage of this method is that the damaged parts are easily corroded by rainwater and other pollutants. Only the inside of the tire can be through this method. After the tire is repaired, dynamic balance calibration should be performed. But usually the effect is very good and the price does not exceed 100 yuan.

3. Mushroom nail repair method

This method is similar to the patch mentioned above. But the patch is replaced with mushroom-shaped rubber nails, and the patch is inserted into the broken hole to repair it. Relatively speaking, the price is higher than 100 yuan, and the size of the hole cannot be too large. This method have the best repair effect and is relatively safer.
